Cabbage Salad 1

Ingredients

Half a cabbage very finely sliced
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Juice of two large lemons
1 clove of fresh garlic crushed (do not substitute crushed garlic from a jar as this will add a bad flavour)
Salt (about a teaspoon)

Method

Note: This recipe will simply not work without salt.

Put the very finely sliced cabbage in a serving bowl and sprinkle evenly with the salt. Pour the olive oil and lemon juice over the salad and add the crushed garlic.

Stir the salad well to make sure the oil and lemon coats all the cabbage, let stand for 15 minutes before serving and toss again before serving.
